Senior Educator (Peer Coach)

About the Role

  • Part Time - 3 days a week
  • Commencing as soon as practicable

The Senior Educator's role is to lead, mentor, and support a team of educators to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care. The Senior Educator acts as a peer coach, supporting the professional practice and ongoing development of Early Learning Centre staff, with a focus on Christ, character, and excellence. The Senior Educator works under the guidance of ELC Leaders, and in response to Educator and child needs. This position involves mentoring and supporting educators, ensuring compliance with regulations, and building strong partnerships with families and the community to enhance outcomes for children.

About You

  • You have personal views and beliefs that align with the Christian ethos of the College, and you are able to demonstrate an active faith and church involvement and are able to teach and live from a Biblical worldview.
  • You will hold, or be actively working towards, a Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA recognised equivalent qualification.
  • You have Lead Educator experience.
  • You have current First Aid Qualifications - including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
  • You have a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
