At Livingstone, we have three categories of sports: Premier Sports, Get Active Sports and House Sporting Competitions.

Premier Sports

Premier sports are the sports that have been identified as having the best possible opportunities for inter-school competitions and involve intense training and commitment. Livingstone's current premier sports include Rugby 7's, Volleyball, AFL and Netball. The training for these competitive sports is held outside of school hours and our teams compete at various competitions throughout the year.

Get Active Sports

Get Active Sports are social and recreational sports where the aim is to get students moving around in fun sporting activities. We offer students the choice of a range of activities to participate in. These activities are run on a Thursday afternoon. Sports such as handball, table tennis and multi sport are held on-campus. Students travel off campus for activities such as hiking and tennis. The selection of Get Active sports vary each by term and are subject to change.

House Sporting Competitions

House Sports involves carnival days and lunchtime activities where students compete in 4 houses; Moffat, Carey, Taylor and Judson - named after missionaries William Carey, Adoniram Judson, Robert Moffat and Hudson Taylor respectively. The College holds three house carnivals during during the year; swimming, cross country and athletics. Students who achieve success at these carnivals go onto district level competition.
