Representative Sport Pathways

Your Pathway to Sporting Excellence
1. School – Livingstone Christian College
The journey begins at Livingstone. Through House Carnivals, school sport and individual sporting achievements, students can demonstrate their abilities and pursue opportunities for representative selection.
2. District – Pacific School Sport
Livingstone is part of the Pacific School Sport District. Eligible students can participate in district trials and competitions, with successful athletes selected to represent Pacific at the regional level.
3. Region – South Coast School Sport
Successful district representatives and other eligible athletes can progress to South Coast regional selection. Students selected for South Coast teams compete at Queensland Representative School Sport State Championships.
4. State – Queensland Representative School Sport
At state championships, athletes compete against Queensland's strongest school-aged sporting talent. Outstanding performers may be selected to represent Queensland at national championships.
5. National – School Sport Australia
Selection in a Queensland team provides students with the opportunity to compete against leading school-aged athletes from other Australian states and territories at School Sport Australia National Championships.
Selection pathways, age eligibility and competition availability vary between sports. Some sports offer direct entry to regional trials.
From Livingstone to National Competition
At Livingstone Christian College, we believe every student should have the opportunity to discover and develop their God-given sporting abilities.
Through the Queensland Representative School Sport pathway, talented students have opportunities to progress beyond school competitions to represent their district, region and state, with the possibility of competing at School Sport Australia National Championships.
