Primary After-School Sports Development Program

Livingstone Sports Academy (LSA) Primary After-School Sports Development Program is designed to support and enhance the physical, social, and emotional development of students from Prep to Year 6, through quality sports coaching and engaging skill-based sessions.

The program offers students the opportunity to participate in age-appropriate training across a variety of sports, delivered by experienced staff and student mentors in a structured and supportive environment. Each sport is tailored to specific age groups to ensure the activities are developmentally suitable and enjoyable for all involved. To support the safety and wellbeing of our youngest learners, parents of Prep to Year 2 students are required to be present during training sessions.

At Livingstone Christian College, we understand the powerful role sport plays in developing resilience, teamwork, discipline, and confidence. Through the LSA Primary program, we aim to build a foundation of positive sporting experiences that will encourage lifelong participation in physical activity and healthy lifestyles.

Our Mission

The mission of the Livingstone Sports Academy is to provide students with high-quality, Christ-centred sports education that develops not only athletic ability but also character, leadership, and integrity through the medium of sport.

Our Aims

  • To deliver age-appropriate sports training in a safe, fun, and inclusive environment.

  • To foster the physical literacy of students through structured skill development and game play.

  • To encourage positive sporting values such as teamwork, perseverance, respect, and fair play.

  • To build community connections through parent involvement, student mentorship, and inter-year group collaboration.

  • To support the development of student leaders through coaching opportunities and guided involvement.

The Livingstone Sports Academy’s Primary program reflects our College’s commitment to nurturing the whole child. It complements our academic and spiritual programs by offering a space where students can explore and develop their God-given gifts in a supportive, dynamic setting. We look forward to seeing our students grow in skill, confidence, and community as they participate in the LSA this year.
