Agriculture

The farm is home to sheep, goats, chickens, native bees, and a thriving vegetable garden, creating a rich environment for students to explore how food and fibre are produced. Our gardens continue to grow and currently include sensory, native, international, and Indigenous plants, offering diverse learning experiences rooted in sustainability, nutrition, and culture.
Additionally, the weekly lunchtime Ag Club provides Senior student handlers with the opportunity to mentor Intermediate students in various aspects of farm life.
Through these experiences, students not only develop essential life skills but also gain a deeper understanding of the importance of caring for God’s Creation—including our local environment and the resources He provides.
Our Prep to Year 12 Agriculture program gives students the opportunity to engage with a fully functioning farm located right here on our campus. The program delivers Australian Curriculum content from Prep to Year 10, with Primary students participating in hands-on agricultural experiences as part of the integrated content in their six-month Design and Technology subject.
These experiences may include sheep shearing demonstrations, animal handling, chicken care and observation, and growing their own fruits and vegetables.
