At Livingstone we split sport into three categories: Premier Sports, Get Active Sports and House Sports.

Premier Sports are our competitive sports that involve intense training and completion. AFL, Basketball, Netball, Rugby 7s and Volleyball are the premier sports run at the College. The training for these competitive sports is held outside of school hours and our teams compete at competitions during the year.

Get Active Sports are social and recreational sports where the aim is to get students moving around in fun sporting activities. We offer students the choice of a range of activities to participate in. These activities are run on a Thursday afternoon. Sports such as handball, table tennis and multi sport are held on-campus. Students travel off campus for activities such as hiking and tennis. The selection of Get Active sports vary each by term and are subject to change.

House Sports involves carnival days and lunchtime activities where students compete in 4 houses; Moffat, Carey, Taylor and Judson - named after missionaries William Carey, Adoniram Judson, Robert Moffat and Hudson Taylor respectively. The College holds three house carnivals during during the year; swimming, cross country and athletics. Students who achieve success at these carnivals go onto district level competition.

At our end of year Awards Night, we will recognise the achievements of our students in our premier sports and those who have progressed to district, regional, state or national competition. The House Shield will be presented to the winning house at Awards Night.
