History & Mission

The Mission of the College is to provide Christ centred schooling in an atmosphere of love, respect, peace and discipline – which will encourage students to achieve their full potential for God.

College History

Livingstone Christian College commenced in 2002. 62 Reedman’s Road, Ormeau had been a campus of St Stephen’s College, Coomera in 2001 – but that school closed after one year of operation. Livingstone is a non-denominational, not-for-profit entity, governed by a Board of Directors. It is part of a fellowship of schools administered by Christian Community Ministries Limited which includes Groves Christian College (Kingston), Staines Memorial College (Springfield), Dalby Christian College, Warwick Christian College, Whitsunday Christian College (Airlie Beach), Hervey Bay Christian Academy (Hervey Bay), Endeavour Christian College (Cooktown) and Burnett Youth Learning Centre (Bundaberg), as well as schools in South Australia and New South Wales. Livingstone is a member of Independent Schools Queensland (ISQ).
